Political literacy

How can we support our young people to participate in building a more just and sustainable future in our increasingly globalised and interconnected world?


We will consider how we can support young people to develop the skills for political literacy and active global citizenship and explore what we mean by participation in our schools and classrooms. 

This course is being offered in partnership with the Scottish Parliament Education Service and will make use of the resources developed by Education Scotland.

This course is for all teachers.


Dates: 1 and 8 February 2017, 26 April 2017

Time: All sessions 4.15 – 6.15pm
