New national anti‑racist education platform launched

Scotdec and Scotland’s Development Education Centres are proud to launch antiracisted.scot – a new national platform designed to support anti‑racist education across Scotland.

Developed through the Scottish Government’s Anti‑Racist Education Programme (AREP), the site brings together practical guidance, classroom resources and professional learning materials to help practitioners build confidence and embed anti‑racist practice across the curriculum.

At launch, antiracisted.scot included content for Early Years and Health & Wellbeing (Second and Third Level), with further subject‑specific and targeted ‘by level’ sections planned in the future. The platform was co‑created with educators, young people and sector experts to ensure the resources are grounded, relevant and responsive to Scotland’s diverse learning communities.

The launch marks an important milestone in Scotland’s ongoing commitment to creating inclusive, equitable learning environments where every child and young person feels respected, represented and valued.
