In August 2025, Scotdec joined the Edinburgh International Book Festival to deliver hands‑on global learning activities. Our team hosted sessions in the Discovery Zone and ran Refuse, Repair, Rethink — an interactive workshop exploring the global impact of our everyday consumption choices.
Throughout the day we shared resources that connect literacy with urgent global issues, highlighting how books can open conversations about sustainability, justice and the world around us. A fantastic chance to meet educators, young people and festival‑goers committed to global citizenship.
