Getting started
Before tackling the big issues we suggest you use some of these activities to find out more about Malawi and pupils views on tobacco and smoking. Activities focus on everyday life and farming in Malawi. There is also a tobacco compass – a tool you can use with young people to plan their own enquiry into the issues.
We have also developed a pupil learning log which can be used as a personalised learning log of the work they do around this topic.
In addition to the activities, we have created a short guide to support young people to take action around the issues raised in the resource.
