Active Global Citizens – a peer education resource

Developed by teachers and tested by pupils, these peer education activities are designed for young people to lead the learning on issues such as children’s rights, our global connections and the social and environmental impacts of consumerism.

Using the topics of tobacco, jeans and mobile phones, these participatory activities examine issues of social justice, environmental impacts and global interdependencies through a series of short, easy to navigate activities.

Each topic has useful background information and all the worksheets and materials young people need to deliver active learning sessions to their peers. If young people are inspired to take action after finding out about an issue there is also a guide to help them run a campaign.
