Explore the Global Goals – 17 activities for secondary schools

Introduce your pupils to the Sustainable Development Goals and inspire them to take action to fight inequality and injustice, end extreme poverty and tackle climate change.

These 17 colourful postcards are designed to teach secondary-aged young people about the Sustainable Development Goals and to discover ways to address the issues in their own communities and further afield. Each postcard has an activity for introducing a goal and ideas for exploring it further in the classroom.

Incorporate the materials into a PSE programme, use for subject-specific content or find ideas for developing the John Muir Award and Saltire Award.

Global Goals Champions

Global Goals Champions can be run as a school or year group initiative to motivate and inspire young people to find out more about the Goals. As they learn more about individual Goals, young people can collect stamps in their Global Goals Passport. If they collect 7 stamps they achieve a bronze certificate, 12 stamps for silver and 17 stamps for gold.

Everything you need to run the Global Goals Champions initiative is free to download.
